Repurpose Aggregates believes in the circular economy model, in which materials, tools, and systems that are designed to prevent waste are the priority. The circular economy attempts to fundamentally change the linear model of production, which focuses on extraction, manufacture, use, and disposal. Instead, a circular economy model focuses on diminishing energy usage, creating durable materials, and attempting to design waste out of the system. These aim to minimize (or even eliminate) waste and pollution by improving efficiency and keeping products and materials in use. It is a fundamental change in development models that can increase the longevity of our industry and improve our environment at large.
